On Wednesday, September 30, 2020, the Central Bank of Tunisia decided to lower its key interest rate by 50 basis points, setting it at 6.25%.
However, the Central Bank Council continues to closely monitor all developments, and in coordination with all concerned parties, it may take further measures in the near future to stimulate investment.
In fact, due to the slowdown in business and investment, and following numerous appeals from project holders and investors, the Central Bank has finally decided to reduce the rate from 6.75% to 6.25%.
